A few years ago, we rebuilt a classic Masters Green 1997 Ski Nautique as a no-compromise slalom machine—the TSC1 Carbon Interceptor. Anything that didn’t improve the pull was questioned. Ever since seeing the inaugural Super Sport at the Seattle Boat Show, we liked the idea of a V-drive interior that wasn’t dominated by a motor box. At the same time, we were surfing more in Tofino and thought wakesurfing might help keep us tuned for the ocean. Enter a Ski Nautique 200 this summer after locating one in WA state. Specs are '15 Team Edition OB, with EX343 engine, 654 prop. First ski was a shock. Heavy bump at 28off, lots of spray and my ski fin was slipping out on the foam sections before the wake.  So investigation ensued and here's what was done: 1. With winter season on its way, staying comfortable is a luxury that many strive for. Liners are a great help here. Standing on ski’s all day normally is not something considered comfortable that is where liners come in. It is important to get that comfort but also keep the performance and ability to put pressure where needed. Liners are molded to an individual’s feet so they for individual use only. Binding setup is a very custom and personal thing because there are variations throughout the body both in measurement and alignment.
