FM developed an innovative releasing buckle & receptor. The Z-Lock is used like a regular buckle strap closure, but can rapidly release back in a fall allowing the skier's foot to exit the boot.
The Z-Lock system may be added to our Evolution, or Rebel Z series boots. For best results we recommend one Z-lock strap added onto the lower front boot in addition to the elastic cord lacing. (Using more than one Z-lock per boot is not recommended)
Each Z-Lock system is custom manufactured and tested in our shop. This item includes one buckle strap w/ flap and Z-Lock Receptor. Includes fasteners.
Steel lever latching springs can be replaced with urethane springs for use in corrosive water at additional cost.
